Muslim Chinese - collaborative solution

Islam in China is practiced not from today, but from 1911 AD. Muslims are free to practice Islam in China and a few Mosques and Islamic centres can also be found indifferent cities of the country, including Beijing, the capital (BBC, 2002).
The issue is only Uighur Province where a separatist movement is rising under the Turk Muslims, who wish an independent Muslim state for themselves (Davis, 2008).
The solution to this conflict is a compromise from both groups of stakeholders.
•
The Muslims must realize that they are a part of the big nation, China. As citizens of a country, they must abide by the laws of the State and do not start a movement that can cause unrest in the region and be unacceptable to the government and fellow citizens of the country.
•
The Chinese government must not treat the Uighur Muslims as second grade citizens and allow them freedom of expression as well as their basic human rights. They should be allowed to practice Islam freely and not stopped from fulfilling their religious duties, such as Fasting during the month of Ramadan or keeping a beard, symbolic trait of Muslim men.

•
The resolution of conflict also demand patience, peace, and tolerance from both parties as well.
